Full Strawberry Moon Dreamboards ~ June 7, 2009

The Full Strawberry Moon, the Full Honey Moon, the Full Rose Moon, what a luscious, sensual moon we have to bless our dreams this month. And in addition, this full moon is in Sagittarius - a fire sign ready to ignite your dreams with energy and passion! Sagittarius is a sign of expansion, that arrow shooting way beyond any boundaries or limitations that may have been holding you back.

Let this powerful moon set you free to dream with wild abandon, to bust through any barriers that have been in your way. Fill your dreamboard with whatever stirs your spirit and catches your soul - without censorship. Let yourself experience the luscious abundance of this moon and fill your dreamboard to overflowing. Let the pictures drip off the sides of the page. If there's something you're dreaming of that you can't find a picture of, draw it or write it in. Let your heart's longing pour onto the page. Let your soul reveal to you what it's aching for and then invite it in every day this month.

Run wild with your dreams under this full Strawberry moon and see what gorgeous places they take you.

My Full Strawberry Moon Dreamboard

What a beautiful day for dreaming. I hosted the first ever live Full Moon Dreamboard Circle here in Toronto and it was such a treat. I'll be posting more about the experience and the wonderful women who attended tomorrow. Today I wanted to be sure to launch my dreamboard to the full moon with you.

When I look at this board what I am most aware of is my soul's longing for beauty - in all aspects of my life, including my work. And also there is a great sense of ease. Energy, strength, growth, prosperity and sweet, sweet ease.

But the most powerful revelation came to when I got home. During the circle, I explained that I was deeply drawn to this image of the elephant but didn't know why. When I looked at my dreamboard moments ago, suddenly I saw this:

Do you see it? The face and the elephant are connected. The markings down the trunk are a spine, the tusks are arms, even the protusions of the eyes are the curves of breasts. Tears filled my eyes and something shifted. There's something very powerful and personal here about stepping into my wise self and standing in my power. It's time.

My Full Pink Moon Dreamboard

It's been an extraordinary first quarter of the year, truly amazing. And April has seen the culmination of so much work - the completion of The Next Chapter, the launch of Your Creative Spark, the beginning of our kitchen reno.

And now, under this full pink moon, I feel the need to for stillness. I want to have some quiet, some time alone. I want to take long, hot showers and sleep more. I want to enjoy the day-to-day, to enjoy the love in my life, to enjoy our new kitchen when it's done.

It feels like a time to celebrate all that I've accomplished, to take a breathe and savour it all and then to dive back in and discover what's next.

My Full Worm Moon Dreamboard

I approached my dreamboard this month intuitively, as I always do. As I tore pictures out of magazines, I cast my thoughts to this month - what I'm looking forward to, what I'm hoping for, what I'm dreaming of.

In this Full Worm Dreamboard, I see a stirring in my spirit and in my life accompanied by a desire for vivacious living coupled with a great sense of ease. Yes, please.

Creating this dreamboard over the course of two evenings led to some really cool discoveries. As it got late one night, I decided to neatly bring together the images I had gathered to store them for the night. One by one, beautiful combinations began to appear. It was so magical that I took some photos, which I've shared below. Some of the images made it to the board and others did not. But still, as I watch this slide show, I know they are a part of my dreams.

What are you dreaming of this full moon? Would you like to participate?

Secret #2: Honouring Your Inspirations

For this session of The Next Chapter, I'm leading a group through 12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women. The energy and inspiration is amazing! Just email me
if you'd like to join us.

This week's secret is honouring your inspirations.

Over the years, one of the ways that I have consistently recognized and reinforced my inspirations, tastes, interests and priorities has been through collaging. Generally, I let myself choose images very intuitively and then I put them together and see what there is to discover. This week I thought a great exercise for honouring my inspirations would be to look at my current Dreamboard and see what my choices reveal.

Dreamboard Inspirations

  • I believe in magic.
  • I'm currently longing for ease, relaxation and self-care.
  • I love sparkle.
  • I relish the amazingness of women.
  • I'm learning that slowing down doesn't mean easing up. Slow can be powerful.
  • I feel the power of focus.
  • I love and am attracted to intensity.
  • I believe in a world of magic and wonder.
  • I want to study Soul Coaching with Denise Linn.
  • I want to put on my show about the Snow Queen.
  • I love fantastical, epic tales.
  • I'm passionately in love with my husband.
  • I want to connect and communicate with wonderful, creative people.
  • I love to move.
  • I am deeply connected to the rhythms of life and am coming to terms with growing older.
  • I appreciate and enjoy luxury.
  • I feel the fire of my soul.
  • I have some attitude.
  • I love to celebrate.
  • I am determined.
  • Art is a part of my life.
  • My spiritual connection is always with me, always a part of me.
  • I am an adventuress.
  • Shine! Sparkle! Glow!

Some of these things are very familiar to me, others are new and some took me a while to recognize. This week I'm going to think about how I can integrate more of these things into my life, especially "slow and powerful." That's an entirely new energy for me, and it's calling. It will be interesting to explore.

I hope you're inspired to make your own dreamboard. Feel free to join us each full moon. For more information, click here.

My Full Wolf Moon Dreamboard

In a rather hectic time, I just love sitting down with a cup of tea, a stack of magazines, a glue stick and a mission. I love seeing a vision unfold before my very eyes. I let my intuition choose the pictures and words, starting to notice themes and preferences as I go along. Some things have immediate resonance and I know exactly why they are on the page. Other things are mysteries to be curious about over the month.

I make my dreamboard my background on my computer. I put it up in my studio. I look at it and smile and wonder and wait for the magic to begin.

September Dreamboard

In the past 2 weeks my vision for myself and for my work has shifted and at the same time focussed intently around what has always been true for me. The comments you wrote on my post about Mr. Cringan affirmed so much. Thank you. I'm still processing all that this shift means, all the ways that it might show up and this dreamboard is a beginning.

With dreamboards, usually I start with my intuition and see what finds its way to the page. For the first time I started with very specific goals and dreams in mind. I'm going to be launching some projects over the next while that I really hope you'll be as excited about and inspired by as I am.

Thank you, Suzie, for the dreamboard challenge.

My Dreamboard ~ July Full Moon

I always do my dreamboards backwards. I don't start out thinking about what I want and then go and find pictures. Instead, I head to the bookstore and see what magazines catch my eye. And then I make an event of sitting down with glue, scissors and images and noticing what calls my name.

This month's dreamboard came as a surprise to me but when I saw my yearnings on the page I recognized them immediately. I've added fire to the mix to activate these wishes. I'll be sure to share the journey of them coming true.

Dreamboard ~ June Full Moon

It's the full moon again, and Suzie has invited us all to create a dreamboard.

Today I took myself out on a trip to the store and browsed a variety of magazines, being open to anything catching my eye. That process itself was a treat filled with insights and discoveries. I was reminded how much I enjoy Marie Claire Maison, including the fact that it's in French. When we went to Montreal recently, it reawakened my love of languages and today I so enjoyed being able to include French in my dreamboard.

Once again, I chose intuitively. I see in my board guidance about the direction of my business but primarily this board is an invitation to Spirit, to Magic and to the Universe. It is a request for insight, guidance and connection. It is an offering of my heart, my creativity and my talents.

I have a feeling it's going to be a powerful month.

It's not too late to participate. What are you dreaming of?

Dreamboard

I was inspired by Suzie to make a Dreamboard for this month. She's encouraging everyone to manifest their dreams through images, so you know I had to be in on this one.
This is my dreamboard. It represents my goals for the next months or so. I was a bit intuitive in how I approached the collecting of images but they did come to represent goals in each of the significant areas of my life: home, business, self and relationships.
It's not too late to make your own dreamboard. Why not participate?
