Project 365 ~ Week 20 and 21

I've got to play a little catch up with my Project 365, so some of these are pre- and some post-Montreal. When I look at them I see how much happens in a couple of weeks! Here we're at a housewarming party for our friends and Justin gets a chance to learn the accordian!

The next day we tried out a new local spot for breakfast.

The next day Justin and I met up with Shannon to go to the new Indiana Jones movie. I think I liked it better than they did. It really wasn't terribly good, but I had fun watching it.

Then we started planning for Montreal.

And packing. No, I didn't bring all these clothes but it was so hard to plan for weather that would range from sunny to rain from 9 degrees to 23! Montreal pictures can be seen in the previous few posts. So, I'll jump to when we get home.
Justin went out for groceries and brought home some longans for us to try. They were so interesting - sweet and yummy with the texture of lychees and a gorgeous hard, shiny, deep red pit.

One of the things that's nice about being home is cooking together. It's something we've come to enjoy so, so much.

On my way to Nia I saw this tree for the first time. It absolutely called my name. I had to go over and make a connection, which was magical.

Chatting with Shannon during the commercials of So You Think You Can Dance. I'll be glued to that for the rest of the summer. Though I should definitely improve my posture when watching it!

Friday night was a treat. Out for dinner and then to see The Forbidden Kingdom with non other than the Movie Moxie aka my sister. Lucky me!
Project 365 is my attempt to capture a year in my life through a photograph a day. On Saturday's I'll post the week's pics. At the end of the year, I'll create a video of all these precious moments. Feel free to participate at any time. Yours can be Project 347 or Project 292. It's up to you.

I love that I get to see what you and Shannon are up to! You are so fortunately Justin likes to cook, I think it's beautiful you too can do that together. I have never heard of that kind of "berry" (?) before!

You know I would have brought all those clothes and more had that been my trip but packing light is an artform you have Jamie!

Yay for communing with local trees!
