Blooming!

My beautiful white clematis burst into an outrageously abundant amount of blooms this year.

I remember the first year; it didn't bloom at all. My mom assured me not to worry. She told me it was spending its time growing deep roots and that was a good thing, and the flowers would come later. And they have.

Gardening offers many great metaphors for life. I hope I bloom just like this clematis. How about you?

That is so amazing! To go from nothing to this, what an fantastic transformation of energy. It reminds me of how we need to hold onto our energy and cave for a while before we can share our energy. I hope I can bloom like that too Jamie! So great talking to you yesterday as well. I keep thinking of me as a punker rock star. Thank you for that, I LOVE it!

Love the metaphor! The first thing I thought of when I saw these dazzling flowers was that they look like stars - how appropriate Starshyne :)

THAT is what those flowers are!!! Someone near here had them growing in purple, and I was like "what are those??? I want some!" lol

I think we all go through seasons like your flower... sometimes it seems like my life isn't going anywhere, no personal growth is going on... and then "BAM!!!!" all kinds of things just seem to explode in my life!
