As a journal-wrecker, I've learned to take my journal with me everywhere - you never know what's going to happen.
I took my journal to my biweekly art picnic with my creative entrepreneurial friends. Can't you just tell an adventure is about to begin! Shortly after this picture was taken, my "sticky" page was complete with strawberry jam muffin (thanks, Danette) and honey, stickers and more! Then suddenly, two of these women ran out onto the street with the journal and came back with this:
My most seriously wrecked page to date! Thanks, Jenn & Chris!

*laugh* what did they do to it?
Simply fantastic ... ;)
Did they run over it or something? Great! I showed that page to a friend and she trembled with fear. It's still waiting to be 'destructed'.
LOL! I don't even want to know what they did with that page. :) FUN! :)
I LOVE it! Need to give up control and lend my journal to a friend.
Too cool and a tad frightening, PERFECT! Friends rock.
Deliciously destructive...and mighty terrifying....
~deep breaths innnnn and oooouuuut~
*grin*
Intense wreckage!
I LOVE IT! LOL ~ but you gotta tell us, how did they get it to look like that??!!
Truthfully, I don't know all that they got up to. They took the book, smiled maniacally and ran out of the coffee shop laughing. This is what they came back with!
I know it involved at minimum:
* A planter where the coffee shop puts their grounds
* The smudge of purple flowers
* Taped in pieces of coffee
* A stranger putting out their cigarette on the page!
I also had holes poked in my journal and a suggestion that I wreck this journal by making art with menstrual blood.
The madness! :)
wreck stars, all.
thanks again for conceiving this. all the pleasure and destruction you've wrought!
This made me laugh. Thank goodness for friends.
a journal, lovely help, wonderful friends and of course, fun fun fun!
Yay!

I LOVE how this is inspiring others beyond the Wreck This Journal group--everyone around us is getting involved!
I love the picture of your friends for the sheer joy they exude. What better sight is there?
Jamie,
What fun your friends had. I am going to hand mine to my friends this weekend and we'll see what they do too. This sure is a fun project.

KEWL!!
I want friends like those!
Wait. I have friends like those.
Where´s my phone now?
lol how funny are your friends that they ran out with the journal and decorated it lol! I must bring the journal out with me now !!
Love it!!!
my journal is having a rest and drying out after the fire got a little out of control and it took an early shower! Pretty flammable stuff that paper! Slight whiff of burning about the place too...
Hehe - so much fun!!
I think I'm gonna have to buy about 10 copies of the journal and carry them around with me everywhere until I run out. They're great for bonding with old friends and breaking the ice with new people!
Looks like you all had a blast! How nice to have friends like this!! xo, Olivia
What fun with friends!
Great wrecked page in that last photo!
Those are some serious wrecking friends! Looks like you're well on your way to full wreckage!
hehe...oh that photo of us is an instant classic. What fun that was! Thank you for being the catalyst for some morning mayhem.
It's true how really what gets created here is experiences and memories. It's so beautiful what happens when we invite others (and get invited!) to play.
Thanks Jamie! I'm bringing my journal to the next picnic. ;)
oh you got some good wrecking buddies!!
woo to the hoo! tho i think the blood part is a tad gross. but girlfriends rock! and wreck!
